DesChamp, Nora Oneita-83, Roseway Manor, Sandy Point, formerly of Lower Ohio,
passed away in the Manor on March 29, 2013. Born in East Green Harbour she was a daughter of the late Winslow and Jennie (Burke) Williams. Nora was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life revolved around her family. She was very religious and had strong faith. Nora was a member of the Hospital Auxillary, a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Shelburne Fire Department, a member of the Liberal Association , and of many more organizations too numerous to mention. She was an avid bowler and a wonderful cook. She enjoyed singing, knitting and sitting around the campfire. She is survived by her husband, William; sons, Michael (Carolyn); Bill, all of Ohio; Bob, Alberta ; brothers, Lewis Williams; Percy ( Aneita)Williams; sister, Pauline (Reg.) Buchanan; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Kit and Aubrey; sisters, Daisy and Doris. Visitation took place on Tuesday, April 2 from 7-9 p.m. in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne. A funeral service took place in the Jordan Falls Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 3rd. with Pastor Gordon Walker officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Family flowers only.
