DALLAIRE, OSCAR - 1925 - 2013 - Oscar Dallaire, 87 of Sainte-Marie de Kent, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent, on Saturday, March 30th, 2013. He was married to the late Amanda (Pellerin) Dallaire (2008). Born in Sainte-Marie de Kent, he was the son of the late Abel and the late Eléonore (Maillet) Dallaire. He will be sadly missed by his four children: Jeannine of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Simonne of Moncton, Denise of Fredericton and Elmo (Donna) of Rexton, his three grandsons: Nicholas, Ryan and Tyler and his two great grandsons: Finn and Alphie. He also leaves to mourn his sister Jeannette Jaillet of Sainte-Marie de Kent , his seven brothers: Yvon, Alfred (Yvette), Laurie (Claudette) all of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Donald (Joan) of Saint-Thomas, Ovila of Notre-Dame, Normand (Claire) of Waltham and Roger (Aline) of Florida and several nieces and nephews. Oscar was predeceased by three brothers: Télex, Gérald and Paul.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’ église, Bouctouche on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013 from 2 to 5pm. Funeral Mass will be held in the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent, on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013 at 7pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Oscar’s memory donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
