It is with great sadness that the family of the late Larry Maurice Hedderson announce his passing at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Hospital on March 30, 2013 at the age of 54 years after a short but courageous battle of Creutzfeldt-Jakob-Disease. Leaving to mourn is his best friend and soul mate of nine wonderful years Daphne Anderson. His beautiful daughter Meranda (Richie) Hurley, son Matthew Hedderson whom he was so proud of. Granddaughters: Lili-Gene Ashbee, Serinity Hurley, grandsons: Byron Ashbee and Lucas Hedderson. His extended family Gordon Brake, Johnathan (Jennifer) Brake, grandchildren: Tyler and Emily Brake who loved and cherished him with all their hearts. Also leaving to mourn his mother Bertha (Decker) Hedderson, five sisters: Irene (George) Ralph, Scenie (Lee Wicks), Hurley, Gert (Hubert) Ralph, Florence (Reuban Ralph) Taylor, Pamela (Rex Brown) Cave, his brother Reg (Peggy Ford) Hedderson, his special nephew Philip Clarke. The mother of his children Diane Blackbird. Also a large circle of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two sons: Larry and Luke Hedderson, his father Edgar Hedderson, his nephew and best friend Ivan Ralph, two nieces: Vanessa Hurley and Samantha Taylor. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place on Thursday, April 4th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street Deer Lake.
