Today recalls sad memories,
Of a dear mother gone to rest,
And the one who thinks of her today,
Is the one who loved her best.

You hold a spot deep in my heart,
There the sun will always shine,
For there will never be another to me,
Like that wonderful mother of mine.

So, if roses grow in Heaven Lord,
Please pick a bunch for her,
Place them in Mom’s arms,
And tell her I truly love her.
