The death occurred suddenly, as the result of a heart attack, at his home in Kelly’s Cross, on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, of Clifford McDonald, age 67 years. Clifford was the beloved husband of Fran (nee Gallant) and cherished father of John (Lori Jaworski-McDonald) and Melissa (Reg) Gallant; and Bampie of Ghenyk, Veronica and Lady. He is also survived by his sister and brothers, Mary (Frank) Kelly, Burnell (Yvette) McDonald, Wendell McDonald and Fred (Mary) Hagen; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Rita (Costello) McDonald and his brothers, Michael McDonald and Carl Hagen. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Thursday, July 3, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Kelly’s Cross, on Friday, July 4, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
