BIGGER, MARIE M. - Marie M. (Connolly) Bigger of Fredericton Junction, NB passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on April 3, 2013. Marie was born in Murray Road PEI, on December 30, 1938 to the late Mary (Fitzgerald) and George Connolly. Marie is survived by her two daughters; Vicky Harris (Tommy Aubin) and Roxanne Davenport (Daryl Wilson), three sons; Tim (Debbie), David (Hilda Taylor) and John Robert "Bobby". As well three sisters Leona Bigger, Anita (Ronald) Morris and Bonnie (Larry) Petre as well as one brother Gerald (Phyllis) Connelly. She will be greatly missed by her seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren who she loved dearly. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many friends. Marie was a home maker to her family as well as working at the hospital in the laundry and housekeeping departments. Marie loved to have family gatherings, and no family time would be complete without country music. Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by her husband Robert Ersyl Bigger, one sister Ida Blair, five brothers Bernard; Clarence, Channing, George and Robert. As well as a son in law Arvard Harris and a great grandson Landon Davenport.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home to pay respects to family on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Columba Catholic Church on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 1pm with Father Mark Trzop officiating. Interment will be in the Gladstone Cemetery in the spring.
