Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, Donald M. Penney of Victoria, age 82 years. Predeceased by wife Maureen, grandson Christopher, brothers Doug, Bill and Les, sister Jessie Chetwynde. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Lynette Bickford, Winnipeg, Man. and Debbie (Ray) Marshall, St. John’s; five sons: Boyd, Don, Tony, all of Victoria, Robert (Sharon), Salmon Cove and Barry (Maureen), St. John’s; seven grandchildren: Angelina, Ian, Gary, Barry, Victoria, Cassandra and Zachary; one great-grandson Dustin; two brothers: Boyd (Cora) and Ron, both of St. John’s; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, April 11 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Friday, April 12 at 2 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Victoria.
