Passed peacefully away in Ottawa on March 19, 2013 surrounded by loving family. Predeceased by her parents Mary Mae Downey Sullivan and Jim Sullivan, husbands Jean Serge Lacelle (2012), Augustus Grouchy (1990). Jean leaves to mourn her passing, three sons: Doug Grouchy, Val Grouchy (Kim), Robert Grouchy (predeceased Rose); one daughter Sharon Grouchy Wells. Also left to mourn two sisters: Catherine Bounadere (Paul), Marlane Davis (Robert); one brother Richard Sullivan (Velma) and predeceased sister-in-law Theresa. Jean will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Although Jean will be forever missed, she will be also be forever remembered for her strength, dignity and her keen sense of humor, which she carried to the end. Cremation took place in Ottawa, with final interment to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a later date.
