Suddenly at her late residence on Saturday, July 5, 2008, of Mrs. Claire M. Blanchard (nee Doiron) of Queen Elizabeth Drive North, Charlottetown, age 75 years. Beloved wife of Hubert Blanchard and loving mother of Ronnie (Mary), Ann Marie (Tony) Coady, Mark (Nancy Downe) and Robbie. She is also survived by her grandsons, Ryan (Lori) and Justin (Jenna Moase) Blanchard and Matthew and Zachary Coady; brothers, Peter C. (Leona), Omer (Pearl), Louis (Ruth), Roy and Eddie (Linda) Doiron; sisters, Eleanor Gallant, Bernice (Paul) Gallant and Mona (Don) Murray; brother-in-law, Nelson (Minnie) Blanchard; sisters-in-law, Sylvia (Eddie) Burke and Bernice Doiron. Predeceased by her parents, Dolphe and Emma (nee Pineau) Doiron; brothers, Aubin and Art Doiron and her brother-in-law, John Blanchard. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 1:45 Tuesday afternoon, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
