PRICE, RUBY L. - Ruby L. (Williston) (Fahey) Price, 86, of Spencer Memorial Home, with loving family members at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 11, 2013. Born in Bay du Vin, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hilda Williston. Ruby was retired from the Y.W.C.A. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was lovingly known as “Nanny Ruby” to many. Ruby will be sadly missed by her sons, Michael Williston (Beth) of Moncton and John “Jack” Fahey of BC; daughters, Shirley Fahey (Terry Leger) of St. Antoine, Karen Fahey-Thibodeau (Yvon) of Shediac Cape and Sheila Fahey (late Danny Roberts) of Moncton; four step children, Charles Price and Donald Price, both of BC, Doris Price Northrup (Linton) of Salisbury, Nancy Grandy of Florida; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brothers, Weston Williston (Sandra) of Moncton and Byron Williston (Amanda) of Miramichi (Chatham); several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ruby was predeceased by her husbands, Charles Fahey (1978) and Irwin Price (1985); and son, David (1987); brothers, Blair and Aubrey.
Visitation and Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995). Viewing will be on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral will be Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 1:30pm. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Stilesville United Church Cemetery.
