GILLMOR, GREGORY ALLAN - The death of Gregory Allan Gillmor occurred Friday morning, April 12th, 2013 at home in Fredericton. Gregory was the son of Allan and the late Susan (Maunder) Gillmor. He was born and lived his early life in St. Stephen. In addition to his father, he is survived by one brother, Mark Gillmor (Jenna) and their children, Nathan and Erin and his five sisters, Gillian (Steve Gray), Anna Emerson (Howie) and their children, Grace and James, Monica (John Ewart) and their children, Ryan and Brooklyn, Christina and Charlotte Lepage (Guillaume) and Margie (Tim) Snell and their children, Jonathan and Matthew. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Rita Maunder; Uncle Stephen and an Aunt Doreen and several cousins. He was predeceased by an Uncle Tony. Gregory was a free spirit, who did things in his way. He could often be seen on the streets of Fredericton with his white cane and his best friend, his dog "Pal". Gregory's family is very appreciative of all the assistance from Pete and Donna Chalmers and Kelly Curtis over many years as well as the Meeting Place Church in downtown Fredericton.
The funeral will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 16th, 2013 at 2:00 pm, preceded by an opportunity for friends and family to meet from 12 to 2pm. The burial will take place at a later time at the Milltown Catholic Cemetery in St. Stephen. For those who wish, donations in memory of Gregory may be made to the Christ Central Church (Street Level Ministry), Canadian Diabetes Association or Canadian Assembly of Narcotics Anonymous.
