It is with great sadness that the family of the late Douglas Skinner announce his passing at his private residence on Friday April 12, 2013, at the age of 58 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories brothers: Alan (Brenda) of Sydney, NS, Charles (Debbie) of Pasadena, NL, Frank (Vessalina) of Surry, England, Lloyd (Laurie) of Bedford NS; nieces: Chrissy, Sarah, Jessica and Rebecca, nephews: Bruce, Stephen and Charles, as well as a large circle of friends. He was predeceased by his parents Seymour and Ruth Skinner of Grand Falls Winsor, NL. At Douglas request, cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Monday April 15, 2013, from the hours of 7-9 p.m. On Wednesday April 17, 2013 a memorial service will be held from Central Funeral Home in Grand Falls Winsor at 2 P.M. with interment will at the cemetery in Grand Falls Winsor. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
