Passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s after a brief struggle with cancer, Jean Cadigan of Logy Bay, age 78. Predeceased by her parents James and Ann Walsh; husband Stephen Cadigan; brothers Robert (Maureen), John, Leo and Phonse; sisters Mary Walsh and Loretta Coady (Tom); brothers-in-law Michael Cadigan (Isabel), Patrick Cadigan, Coleman Cadigan (Philomena) and Tom McGee; sisters-in-law Margaret Roche (Edward) and Alice Cadigan. Leaving to mourn her loving sons Stephen and Glen; sister Essie McGee; brother-in-law Dan Cadigan; sisters-in-law Ella Walsh, Uriel Murphy (Ron) and Nellie Madison (Al); first cousin and lifelong friend Eileen Nolander; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews; special friend Loretta Hartery and all of her friends at Fifty Plus (The Goldenrods). Special thanks to nephew Father Ken Walsh for his assistance during this troubling time. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay, visitation from 2–4 p.m. and 7–9 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 16th and 17th. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, April 18th, 2013 at 2 p.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove, with interment to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Outer Cove.
