Anna Jaman
September 5, 1918 – February 11, 2010
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Jaman on Thursday, February 11th. Anna was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1928 with her brothers Harry Lysyk, Peter Lysyk, Mike Lysyk and her sister Helen Paskaruk (nee Lysyk). Anna and her husband, Nick, farmed in the Meath Park area for 40 years, until 1980 when they moved to Kelowna, BC. They enjoyed meeting many new friends in Kelowna. In 2000, Anna and Nick moved to Prince Albert to be closer to family. Ann is survived her loving husband Nick of 68 ½ years; her sons Ed (Linda) and their children Candis, Corey (Tobey) of Saskatoon, SK and Jaeson (Tracy) of Airdrie, AB; Henry (Sheila) of Williston, North Dakota and daughter Alexis of London, ON, and Brian (Dianna) and their children Clark and Philip all of Brooks, AB; her great-grandchildren Jocelyn, Haley, Tanner, Roman, Kaitlyn, Cody, Hunter, Anna, and Sarrah. She was predeceased by her parents Steve and Anna Lysyk and all her siblings. Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2010 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel. The Funeral Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 770 - 14th St. West, Prince Albert, SK. with Reverend Father Ivan Nahachewsky officiating. Interment will be held at South Hill Cemetery, Prince Albert, SK. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
