TYLER, JOAN - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Elsie Tyler of Briggs Corner, NB. Surrounded by the love of her family Joan passed peacefully on Tuesday, April 16th, at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Born on December 10th, 1935 daughter of the late Hazen and Elsie Lloyd. Survived by her loving husband Charles and their children, Doug (Sandra), Randy (Jocelyn), Greg (Janelle) and Carolyn (Paul) Murphy; siblings, Allister (Laura) Lloyd, Carol (Murray) Doherty, Bob (Lorraine) Lloyd and sister-in-law, Glenna Lloyd; grandchildren, Misti (Chris), Mike (Debbie), Brenden (Natalie), Justine, Devon, Ryan, Kristyn, Matt, Jenna and Kyle; great-grandchildren Alison, Sarah, Sadie, Ethan and Zachary. Predeceased by her son, Wayne, brothers Ken and Maurice Lloyd. Joan was a passionate member of her community a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family and community were her life’s work. She was a member of the Chipman United Church, the Chipman Public Library Board, Alumni & Friends of Chipman Schools and many other community activities.
Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (339-6612) until Friday, April 19th, 2013 when funeral service will be held from the Chipman United Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Betty-Jean Friedman officiating. The family will receive comfort on Thursday, April 18th, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials to the Chipman United Church, Alumni and Friends of Chipman Schools or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
