It is with deep regret that we the family announce the sudden passing of Randy Foster Hill on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at home.
Born in Sydney, Sept. 30, 1953, he was the son of Mrs. Oretha and the late Douglas Hill.
Randy was a retired employer of Devco Farm, Point Edward. Randy loved animals, fishing, reading, his garden, and just driving around visiting people.
Besides his mother, Randy is survived by his dear friend ,Dawn Rudderham and her family; sisters, Shirley (Wilburn) Hill, Point Edward, Kimberley (Ritchie) Matthews, North Sydney, Alberta (John) Carey, Ball’s Creek; brothers, William (Betty), Frenchvale, Gerald, Point Edward as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place, there is no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday April 20, 2013, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
