Peacefully, at the P.E.I. Atlantic Baptist Home, on Thursday, April 18, 2013, of Reverend Andrew Macdonald, age 80 years.
Left to mourn are Fr. Andrew’s sister, Jean Macdonald; brothers, Ernest Macdonald (Marie) and Francis Macdonald (Cathy); sisters-in-law, Edna Macdonald and Bernadette Macdonald; his beloved 18 nieces and nephews and their families and also Fr. Andrew’s dear friends in Cooper Institute and the Latin American Mission Program. He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Irene (Lewis) Macdonald; brothers, Ronan, Kent, John S. and Fr. Clare; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Christian and Mary Hennessey.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, then transferred to St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown, for visitation on Sunday, April 21, 3-5 p.m., then transferred to All Saints Church, Cardigan, for visitation on Monday, April 22, from 9:30 a.m. to time of funeral at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Latin American Mission Program or Cooper Institute would be appreciated.
