Olive Felicity Lowerison age 78 of Amherst passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan.
Born in Hythe, England she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Williams.
Olive had a great passion for all animals, especially horses. She enjoyed spending time at her cottage with her friends and family. She was involved with Scouts Canada, where she was a Beaver leader and attended Holy Family Parish, where she taught Sunday school for many years. Olive worked as a School Crossing Guard.
Olive will be lovingly remembered by her husband Donnie, Amherst; son, Jamie, Amherst; daughter Jo-Anne MacKenzie of New Glasgow NS; grandchildren, Mary Dupuis, Robert MacKenzie, and Victoria Lowerison-Hicks; great granddaughter, Rayna; as well as several niece and nephews.
Olive was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was predeceased by her sister, Margo Carr and brothers, Victor, and Philip.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 15, 2010 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. with funeral service at 3:00 p.m. all in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church, Amherst (667-9906).
