At Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday, February 12, 2010 of Raymond Ira Culleton of Freeland aged 80, beloved husband of the late Reby (Boyle) Culleton. Born in Portage on September 6, 1929, son of the late Alfred and Nettie (Coughlin) Culleton. Cherished father of Nila (Lawson) Murray, Freeland; Mila Culleton and friend (Wayne Ballum), Freeland. Also survived by special nephew Wally (Faye) Hutchinson, O’Leary, and precious family cats Smokey and Bitsy. Dear brother of Ronald “Bud’ (Ruby) Culleton, Mount Pleasant; Harold “June” Culleton, Mount Pleasant. Brother-in-law of Edgar Stewart, Marjorie Culleton, Aldona Culleton, and Larry Etherington all of Summerside, and Hattie MacKinnon, Ellerslie. Predeceased by parents; his wife on January 14, 2010; sisters Wanda Etherington, Jean DesRoches, Minerva MacKinnon, two sisters in infancy; brothers Albert, Ivan, and Fred. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral on Wednesday in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in the Freeland United Cemetery.
