We, the family of the late Boots Boutilier wish to express our sincere appreciation to all who supported us during our recent loss. Thank you to family and friends who travelled to be with us; to those who attended the wake, funeral, visited our home, phoned, sent food, sympathy and Mass cards, flowers, e-mails and made memorial and charitable donations. Thank you to Rev. Thomas Whent, Rev. Canon Fev Arnold, St. Andrews Choir and organist for the beautiful service. Thank you to soloist, Greg Woodford for the touching hymns and to cousins, Roy Brown and Kelly Phalen-Kelly a special thank you for the readings. To Stuart MacLeod, Boots’ great friend and former partner, thank you for the heartwarming eulogy and beautiful reception at the R.C.B. Yatch Club. To the ladies of the C.B.C. & G Society and our family, thank you for the lovely lunch. Thank you to Jennifer MacLeod for her help. To my extended family Shelly, June & family; Mella, Shannon, Krista, Joanne & family; Nancy, Paul, Chrissie, Jigger & family words cannot express my gratitude. To Boots’ cousins, Shirley, Albert & Rena thank you for being there for Mrs. Boutilier. To Elmer & Aaron Boutilier & Dave Hanrahan, thank you. Special thanks to the E.H.S. team, Const. Logan MacVicar, Jody Wilson & Sheldon O’Donnell, Glace Bay Hospital Chaplain, Mary Lou MacDougall, Dr. Neil MacVicar, Dr. Kevin MacNeil, Dr. Robert Cohen (family physician) and the compassionate nurses at the ICU, Glace Bay, we will never forget you. To the pallbearers and honor guard, thank you, Boots would be so proud. Thank you to Mike Peters for making the calls to Boots’ friends and to Beth and Scott for being there for Marc and Jennifer.
