1936 - 2010

Richard was born in Edson, Alberta and passed away in Kamloops, British Columbia at the age of 73 with his family at his side.

Richard is survived by his five children Rick, Terri, Geraldine, Mike and Keith, along with six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Also left to mourn his loss is his brother Ronald, sisters Dorothy, Doreen, and Catherine along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Burnett and Katie, along with his brothers Ken, Virgil and Albert. Sisters Thelma, Ethel and Helen.

Richard spent most of his working career in the Roofing Business but his last several years he worked security at the Rocky Mountaineer Rail Tours, which he truly enjoyed. Richard also spent six years in the Navy.

The family would like to thank Dr. Yanko, Dr. Proctor, the nursing staff at Royal Inland Hospital, the Kamloops Cancer Clinic, the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home and all his special friends and neighbors at Glenfair.

There will be no service by request and donations to the BC Cancer Society 399 Royal Ave, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 5L3 or the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home, 72 Whiteshield Cres. S. Kamloops, BC, V2E 2S9 would be greatly appreciated.
