After a serious operation Blanche passed away. She was one of the old, old timers. Blanche was born and raised in Lillooet. As a teen, Blanche attended the Molar Hairdressing School in Vancouver, after graduating, she returned home and opened her own shop. At one time she was the only hairdresser in town. Blanche was always kind, helpful and welcomed visitors. She had many happy years with Pat Wiley who was the love of her life. Blanche leaves behind many family and friends who were loyal, devoted and helpful. She also leaves behind feathered and furry friends who will miss her.
Blanche was certainly a kind and unique individual and did things her way!
Reverend Terry Roth would have prayers with her and that pleased Blanche. She will be forever missed. God Bless our “little Blanche”.
