In peace and comfort on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, of Anna Lucy MacDonald (McIntyre), formerly of Sherwood, age 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Allison (Labs) MacDonald, dear mother of Alan MacDonald (Lynne), Windsor, Ontario, Joanne MacDonald (Wayne Peters), Charlottetown, and Sheila MacDonald (Michael Campbell), Budapest, Hungary. Loving ‘Lala" to her two cherished granddaughters, Anna and Sarah Campbell. Also lovingly remembered by McIntyre nieces and nephews, James, John, Mary, Rita, Alan and David and their families. Predeceased by her parents, James and Mary (Bambrick) McIntyre of Glenroy, PE, her son Jim (1987), an infant son, and her brother and sister-in-law James (Jim) and Rita (MacDonald) McIntyre, Saskatoon. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Members of the Catholic Womens League will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Friday at 3:30 p.m. Memorial donations in Anna’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or a charity of your choice.
