Passed peacefully away on April 24, 2013 at the age of 88 at the Carbonear General Hospital. Predeceased by husband Leslie (1992) and infant son (1947), sister Sarah and brothers Harold, George and Wilfred. Left to mourn son Keith (Gloria); daughters: Bertha (Billy) and Leslie Ann (Hubert); six grandchildren & seven greatgrandchildren; sisters-in-law: Bertha (George) Powell, Effie and Lillian Hobbs, also a large number of nieces and nephews and friends. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 from 10 a.m.. - 12 p.m. Funeral to take place on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from Broughton's Memorial Chapel, Brigus with interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Burnt Head, Cupids.
