It is with great sadness that the family of the late CATHERINE COLLINS of Marystown, NL, announces her passing at her home in Marystown, on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013, at the age of 77. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Sons – Joe (Gayle) of Marystown, Gus (Annette) of Marystown & Kevin (Danielle Fewer) of Marystown; Daughters – Joan Ann Hayse (Joe) of Parker’s Cove, Kay Collins (Perry Cleal) of Marystown, Melinda Collins of Marystown, Nellie Collins (Ivan) of Marystown, Gertie Hayse (Wayne) of Marystown, Rose Synard (Anthony Coish) of Parker’s Cove & Sharon Collins (James Blackwood) of Marystown; Sisters – Regina Dober of Marystown, Sadie Kelly (Kevin) of Marystown, Joan Power of Marystown & Sharon Walsh (Walter) of Marystown; Brothers – Arch Spencer (Margaret) of Marystown & Lee Spencer (Doreen) of Marystown: 25 Grandchildren & 11 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband – Gus Collins; Parents – Mary Ann & Vincent Spencer; Brother – Vincent & Wife Sheila Spencer; Nephew – Arch Spencer Jr.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown, Friday, April 26th, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown. In Catherine’s memory donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or flowers gratefully accepted.
