We, the family of the late Catherine (Kate) MacNeil, wish to express our gratitude to our relatives, friends, and neighbours for the kindness shown to us during our recent loss. To those who attended the visitation and funeral, sent flowers, memorials, donations, mass and sympathy cards and to everyone who sent food to our homes, and phoned and emailed us, thanks. Special thanks to Dr. Peter Poulos for the care you gave mom this past three years and your compassion shown in her final hours. Thank you Dr. Diane Dobson for the many years of care you gave mom. Thank you to the staff of 5 East at Northside General Hospital for your care and understanding. Thanks to the staff of Theresa Terrace at the Northside Community Guest Home. Thank you Fr. Jake Andrea for your kind words of mom and your visit with us at the funeral home and to Fr. Peter MacLeod for your visits with mom at the Guest Home. Thank you to organist Agnes Gaskell and the combined choir, to the CWL of St. Joseph's Parish for the reception following the mass. Thanks to the lectors, Danielle Burns and Kim Wolfong (granddaughters), gift bearers, Leah and Jessica MacNeil, granddaughters, Eucharistic ministers; Neil MacNeil (son), Anne MacNeil (daughter-in-law), Russell MacDonald (son-in-law), daughter-in-law, Beth MacNeil for her beautiful rendition of Ave Maria; altar servers, Mary Frances Brennick, Jack Day (nephew), Urban Day (friend). Thanks to pallbearers, grandsons, Dannie Gillis, Russ MacDonald, Kevin MacNeil, Alex MacNeil, Paul Morrison, David MacNeil and Stephen MacNeil.
