Charles Raymond Armstrong, of West Caledonia passed away at age 72, on April 24th, 2013 at The Queen Elizabeth II hospital in Halifax. Born in West Caledonia, he was son to the late Hilda and Guy Armstrong. To friends and family he was known as Charlie (also lovingly called Chuck by his wife), and was known for his wonderful sense of humour, charm and generosity. Charlie was a fun-loving father to Cheryl, Deanna, Shawna and Shane-Lorne and was also a wonderful "Grampie" to Hannah, Heather, Shane-William, Grace, Owen, Lara, Amy & Reese.
The family would like to thank all of the friends and family for the support and warm wishes. A memorial service was held on April 26th at the West Caledonia Catholic Church. Donations may be made, in memory of Charlie, to the North Queens Volunteer Fire Department
