Fred Atkinson past away on February 10, 2010, at the age of 74. He is survived by his loving daughters: Lora Atkinson of Kelowna, BC, Linda Meraw (Doug) of Winfield, BC, and Leone Atkinson (Scott Sutch) of Tewksbury, NJ; grandchildren: Brett, Tyson, and Kayt Meraw, and Magdalene and Devin Sutch; and sister, Sheila (Jack) Peacock of Claresholm, AB. He is sadly predeceased by his wife Elaine Atkinson in 1987. He was a dedicated father and a loyal friend. He was a unique and colourful character and he will be missed. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at 1 pm at Aspen Grove golf course in Winfield, BC.
