Passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge, Badger’s Quay on Monday, April 22, 2013 Frances Elizabeth Melindy age 96 years of Lumsden. Predeceased by her parents Carrie and Cecil Hoyles; husband Japeth; daughter Carrie Cuff; granddaughter Diane Cuff; sister Julia Newman and brother-in-law Wilfred Newman. Left with fond and loving memories are her sons Ted(Sharon) of Lumsden, Lindsay(Donna) of Lumsden, George(Bonnie) of Lumsden and Wilfred(Elizabeth) of Trout River; daughter Stella Gill(Ronald) of Lumsden; son-in-law Harvey Cuff of Musgrave Harbour; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service took place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Friday, April 28, 2013 with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating. Interment followed at The United Church Cemetery, Lumsden.
