The death occurred peacefully at South Shore Villa, Crapaud, on Tuesday, July 15, 2008, of M. Melvina Arsenault (nee Richard) of Charlottetown in her 104th year. Beloved wife of the late Mark Arsenault. Dear mother of Margaret (Brian) Costello of New Haven. Melvina is also fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Dwayne (Tracy) of Sherbrooke, Que., Fra Cyprian Mary, Franciscan Brother (Orian) of Perth, Australia, Grant (Denise) of Alberta, Danny of Toronto, Donnie of Alberta, Robert (Jodie) of Alberta, also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and her sister Edna MacKinnon and her six special nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Cyril, Aubin and Ben Richard. Resting at the Charlottetown Funeral Home, 33-35 Longworth Ave., until Friday, then transferred to St. Francis of Assisi Church, Cornwall, for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
