We, the family of the late Faith Hutchings, would like to express our sincere gratitude for the ­overwhelming support and kindness shown to us in our time of sorrow. We gratefully acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy cards, online ­condolences, messages, phone calls, flowers and the monetary donations which are going to Mom’s favorite cause, St. Mary’s Cemetery Fund. We ­certainly appreciate your visits to our homes, Mom’s wake and attending her memorial service.

Thank you to the 2nd Floor staff of Western Memorial Hospital who treated Mom and her family with loving care and professionalism during her last few days with us. Also, many thanks to the staff of Deer Lake Manor. Mom had become quite attached to both staff and residents and started to refer to the Manor as home.

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to Rev. Jean Brenton-Hickman and choir of St. Mary’s Church, Cow Head, for their exceptional service and to the ACW Ladies for supplying food and helping with the reception in the church hall following the burial. It was greatly appreciated.

Thank you to Florence Kelly, Holly Brown and Gerald Langdon of Fillatre’s Funeral Home for ­helping us through the most difficult time of our lives with such compassion and professionalism. A special thank you goes out to the six pallbearers who each held a special place in Mom’s life.

We continue to be moved by your many phone calls and cards and by knowing that her joy and humor reached so many. Please know that you touched us, as you touched her, by your kindness and generosity.

Your kindness will never be forgotten.
