CONNORS, MILDRED ALICE - With great sadness, the family advises of the passing of Mildred A. (Crowley) Connors on May 2, 2013 at Pine Grove Nursing Home. Born on March 31, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Donovan) Crowley. Mildred is survived by her husband, Joseph Connors of Cork, NB; her son, Jerome Connors (Susan), Fredericton, NB; her grandchildren, Heather Aggus (Matt) and Ashley Goggin, Andrew and Sarah Connors, Daniel and Megan Wilkinson; sisters, Alma McDade (Bud), McAdam, NB and Therese Russell (Dolphus), Fredericton Junction, NB; two sons-in-law, John Goggin, Fredericton, NB and Carl Wilkinson, Maugerville, NB as well as many nieces and nephews. Mildred was predeceased by her daughters, Bonnie Goggin and Kathy Wilkinson; three brothers, Edward, Clarence and Clement Crowley and a sister, Vera Tatlock. Mildred was born in Cork, NB where she lived her entire life and was active in her church and community. She loved bingo, dancing and animals, especially her little dog Babe and caring for her family.
Visitation will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, Cork, NB on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. with celebrant Father Matthew Onwugigbo. Interment at Cork Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Lions Club. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Mildred, the family has suggested the Cork Cemetery.
