JOHNSTON, KARRL - Mr. Karrl Austin Johnston, of Saint John, passed away on May 6, 2013 at the age of 78. He was the son of the late Austin and Mary (Allaby) Johnston. He is survived by his wife Helen, his children: Harvey (Carolyn), Pamela Jennings (Albert), Karla Kilpatrick (Mike) John (Louise), Corey (Karen), Manford (Janet), Lyndon (Linda), Krista Daley (Mark), Newton (Lori), Allan (Cynthia), Matthew (Russ), Cliff (Tania), and Kristina Watters (Dale); Karrl is predeceased by a son Gene; He is also survived by five sisters: Winnona "Winnie" Parlee (Mac), Evelyna McKay (Stewart), Dionne Yeomans (James), Betty Bettle (Paul), Juanita Keys; three brothers: Travis Johnston (Phyllis), Humphrey (Janie), LeVerne (Gail):as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Karrl was predeceased by three brothers: Anglin, Cyrus and Gorman his sister-in-law Marlene Johnston, his brother-in-law Fred Dempster and by his nephew Scott Dempster.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Thursday 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm. A service celebrating Karrl’s life will be held from Sussex Baptist Church on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
