HUBERT LEYTE - 85 years of Clarke’s Head passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander. Predeceased by his parents; Frank and Fanny Leyte, brother; Reverend Canon Edward Leyte and son; Eugene Leyte. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife; Annie, sons; Rex (Norma) of Barrie, Ontario, Kevin (Pauline) of Canning, Nova Scotia, Tony (Mae) of Gander Bay, Stephen (Rhoda) of Enfield, Nova Scotia and Todd of Victoria, British Columbia, daughters; Daphne Croucher (Milton) of Scarborough, Ontario, Audrey Benoit (Carl) of Gander Bay, Pauline Francis (Reg) of Gander Bay, Patsy Nippard (Eugene) of Carmanville, Elaine Torraville (Kevin) of Gander Bay and Cathy Gillingham (Keith) of Gander Bay, 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, sister; Iona Norman of New-Wes-Valley and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Memorial service took place on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at The Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Wing’s Point with Rev. Yvonne Thistle officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
