Born in Prestwick, Scotland, our mother Audrey passed away peacefully after a long struggle with cancer. She died among family and friends in her daughter's home in Gibsons.
Our family would like to thank Dr. McFarland, the home support team and palliative care nurses who cared for Mum until she passed.
Our father Guli died suddenly in 1996 and Mum is survived by their four daughters, Hetty, Johanna (George), Saskia (Phil) and Wendy (Don) and three grandchildren, Christina, Eirik and Jackie, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends around the world.
Mum enjoyed her early years as a nurse, raising a family and volunteering as a Girl Guide leader. In particular she had many fond memories of her times at Camp Olave on the Sunshine Coast. In lieu of flowers, donations to Camp Olave would be in keeping with her love of nature and the adventures of Guiding.
