Corbin, Violet R. – 90, of New Salem, Cumberland County passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at Bayview Memorial Health Care Centre, Advocate Harbour. Born in New Salem, she was a daughter of the late Cleveland and Lena (Fletcher) McAloney. She is survived by daughters, Loretta Totten (Doug), Aylesford; Sunda McCarty (Bill), New Salem; Laverne Lent (Wayne), Advocate Harbour; sons, Clark (Mary), New Salem; Larry (Marcia), Barney's River; Randy (Wanda MacLeod), Bedford; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor in 2009. There will be no funeral services by her request. Memorial donations to Bayview Memorial Health Centre Foundation or the Chignecto Manor.
