HARRIS, HANK - With sadness the family announce the passing of J. A. "Hank" Harris, loving husband of Peggy Harris, which occurred on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Bobby's Hospice. Born 1930 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Arthur and Laura (Blaney) Harris. James worked in the automotive industry for many years. He was a former member of the Independent Order of Foresters and the UCT. In addition to his wife, Peggy, he is survived by his daughters, Susan (Wayne) Carlson of Hampton and Mistelle (Rodney) Arseneault of Hammond River; grandchildren, Jillian Carlson, Emily Carlson, Shayna Arseneault and Rebecca Arseneault; and one great-grandchild, Christian Levesque; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Pat Wheaton, Audrey Forgrave, Charlotte Humphrey and Norma Harris.
Following cremation visitation will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 4 to 8 pm. A memorial service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Alderwood Cemetery, Riverview at a later date.
