Peacefully at Mount St. Mary’s , Charlottetown on Thursday, May 16, 2013 of Sister Mary Smith CSM (Miriam Eugene), age 84 years.
Born in Middleton, P.E.I., she is the daughter of the late Eugene and Janie (Clarkin) Smith. She is survived by her sisters: Sister Catherine, CND, Sister Patricia, CND, Margaret (Mrs. Clive Nobrega); her sisters-in-law: Elsie and Ruth Smith. She is also fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brothers: Edwin, George, Francis, Russell, James and Charles.
Resting at Mount St. Mary’s for visiting hours on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be held on Tuesday with funeral mass from Mount St. Mary’s Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery.
