BÉRUBÉ, HÉLÈNA - 1917-2013 - Moncton, NB - Hélèna Bérubé, 95, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, May 17, 2013, after a brief illness. Born in Grande-Digue, NB on September 20, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Léandre and Virginie (Brun) Bourgeois. Hélèna will be sadly missed by her son, Rodrigue (Madeleine) of Quebec City; her daughter, Paulette Bérubé of St-Jérome, QC; her brother, Odule Bourgeois (Yvonne) of Grande-Digue, NB; her two sisters, Stella Petitpas (late Aquila) of Edmundston, NB and Muriel LeBlanc of Edmonton, AB; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Albert; her brother, Armand (Rita).
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, May 22 from 10 am to 12 pm and 2:00 pm until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at the Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, May 22 at 4:00 pm. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
