Loving father of Shawna MacDonald (Jack), Faye, Barbie and Terry (predeceased) (Angela Kelly). Stepfather of Calvin Larkin (Tracey) and Jackie Kennedy (Ron). Grandfather of Katie and Willie MacDonald; Harrison and Fallon Trenholm; Cole, Grace, Abby and Mya Larkin and Larkin and Lance Kennedy. Survived by brothers and sisters Irwin (Vilma); Bernice Kelly (Howard); Lornie, J.P. (Marie); Frankie (Marjorie); Elaine Wood; Dianne McKay (Donald); Coleen Rodgerson (Howard); Leo (Helen) and Claire. Phelan was predeceased by his parents, Dan and Catherine (nee Phelan) Hendricken. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 24, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Mount Ryan Cemetery.
