Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's, on May 24, 2013, age 83 years. Predeceased by his wife Sarah. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Mary in Alberta, and Gail in Cambridge, ON; eight sons: Nick (Wendy), Terry (Brenda), Gary (Jackie), all in Cambridge, ON, Don (Barb) in Alberta, Dennis (Christine), Barry, Jerome (Marie), Harold Jr. (Linda), all on Bell Island; twenty-eight grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home on Sunday and Monday, May 26 and 27, from 12 noon - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. from St. Michael's Parish Church. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bell Island, NL.
