It is with great sadness that the family the late Alice Baker announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Monday, May 27, 2013 at the age of 74 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband George and three sons: Herbert (Debbie) of Barrie, Ontario, Basil (Jackie) of Scarborough, Ontario, Peter (Rosemary) of Flat Bay, two daughters: Della (Jimmy) of Bonneville, Ontario, Phyllis (Steve) Keough of Stephenville Crossing, one brother, Peter (Eleanor) of St. George’s, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren a large circle of relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place and visitation will take place on Thursday, May 30th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Chapel in St. George’s. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, May 31st at 10:00 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Parish in St. George’s with Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Shallop Cove.
