Passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 Blanche Ethel Banfield (Follett) in her 93rd year. Predeceased by husband Capt. Harvey Banfield (Sept. 2011), mother & father Capt. George & Jessie Follett, brothers Albert, Frazer, Charles & Wilfred, sisters Freda & Janie. Leaving to mourn daughter Sharon, son-in-law Sam Barnes, grandsons Steven (Sandra) and Sterling (Julie); great-granddaughters Megan & April, and grandma's girl Abby. Also brother Lloyd (Evelyn) and sister Mildred. She will also be missed by a large circle of nieces & nephews and close friends. Remains resting at Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank, on Tuesday, May 28th, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. (Family Only), Wednesday, May 29th 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. & Thursday, May 30th 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday, May 31 at 2 p.m. from the Grand Bank United Church. Interment to follow at the Grand Bank United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Grand Bank United Church, or the Blue Crest Home. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank.
