It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARY WALSH (LUKE) of Little Bay, NL, announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at the age of 92. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Sons – Bart (Betty) of Little Bay, Frank (Gladys) of Little Bay, Gerard (Adele) of Little Bay, Wayne (Linda) of Little Bay, Beaton (Debbie) of Little Bay, Luke of Grand Falls & Brian (Charlene) of Little Bay; Daughters – Bernadette Drake of Little Bay, Geraldine (Bernard Hodder) of Labrador City, Theresa (Patrick Morris) of Little Bay, Marilyn Walsh of St. John’s & Mary (Rob Greene) of Sudbury, ON; 35 Grandchildren; 36 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by: Husband – Luke Walsh, Son – Arch Walsh, Son-in-law – Alphonsus Drake, Daughters-in-law – Lorraine Walsh & Jeanette Walsh, Grandson – Barry Walsh; Brothers – Arch & William Hanrahan; Sisters – Theresa Kelly, Catherine Hanrahan & Gertrude Hanrahan.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, May 25, at 10:00 a.m. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Little Bay. In Mary’s memory donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
