MOREHOUSE, EDWIN DALE - Edwin D. Morehouse of Zealand, NB passed away May 29, 2013 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Zealand, NB in 1953, he was a son of Doreen (Brewer) Morehouse and the late Ervine Morehouse. He is survived by his friend and caregiver, Betty; his mother, Doreen Morehouse, Zealand, NB; a brother, Daniel (Tana), Zealand, NB; sisters, Vanda Drost, Karen Roden (Beverly), both of Zealand, NB and Victoria Morehouse (Tim), Fredericton, NB; Betty’s children, Steven Brewer (Kerry), Pamila Brewer (Mark), Tamila Brewer and grandchildren; two uncles, Brian Brewer (Marilyn) and Arnold Brewer, both of Zealand, NB; a great aunt, Phyllis Brewer, Fredericton, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins; two special friends, Jason Morehouse and Toddy Brewer. In addition to his father, Ervine Morehouse, he was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Visiting hours will be held at Stone Ridge Pentecostal Church, 129 Upper Stone Ridge Road, Zealand, NB on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the church on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Arol Brewer officiating. Interment at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Wade Roden, Roger Randall, Ivan Brewer, Andrew Brewer, Aaron (Duke) Brewer and Terry Brewer. Active pallbearers will be Ivan Morehouse, Billy Morehouse, Tommy Morehouse, Lebaron (Wes) Burtt, Darren Randall and Brian Stairs.
