SANFORD, FREEMAN - The Lord has called home his son, Freeman (Sandy) Oscar Sanford of Wassis, NB on June 1, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Sandy will be forever loved and cherished by his wife, Geraldine Marie Sanford; his children, Ralph, Sandra, Bruce, Brian, James, Francis, and the late Deborah Sanford. Sandy's flame will burn eternally in the hearts and souls of his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and close friends. May peace and love surround his family as they mourn his loss and rejoice in his life, and may his country also stand proud of the 33 years of military service he invested.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation on Tuesday, June 4 at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church from 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday, June 5 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Monte Peters as celebrant.
