GRANT, WILLIAM "BILL" - With great sadness the family of William Grant announce the passing of our dear father on Friday, May 31, 2013 at the Moncton Hospital with family by his side. Born in Greenock, Scotland, he was the son of the late Robert and Georgina (McDougall) Grant. A veteran of the Second World War, Bill served with the Fighting Novas, Royal Canadian Army, throughout Europe. William is survived by his former wife, Vivian Horsman; daughters, Ruth (Leigh) MacIntosh of Moncton, Leanne Grant of Moncton, Gina Hyslop (Duane) of Kingston, NB; sons, Kevin Grant (Pauline) of Lower Coverdale, Scott Grant (Francis) of Chilliwack, BC, Robert Grant of Moncton; grandchildren, Wayne, Marie, Ryan; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Ella; sisters, Nessie Grant of Oromocto, NB, Margaret Grant of Toronto, Betty Lucci of Baie Verte, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by one sister, Jean; and six brothers, John, Robert, Duncan, James, Edward, Alexander.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday evening, June 4, from 7 to 9 pm. Friends and family are asked to gather at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 5, at Fair Haven Funeral Home.
