We are saddened to announce the passing of our sister Barbara Ann Martin on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 61 years. She was predeceased by her father Stan Martin (1977), her mother Ann Martin (2011) and nephew Michael Martin (1999). She is survived by siblings Janet (Jim), Gerard, Gary (Marion), Marilyn (Lex) and Danny. She also leaves to mourn her many nieces and nephews and special friends Jackie Hefford and Marilyn Pike. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 6 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Father Donald Leonard officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. In her memory, donations may be made to Corner Brook Special Olympics or to the Corner Brook VON Adult Day Care Program.
