Myles Marks
MARKS, MYLES - 1920 - 2013 - The death occurred on February 11, 2013 at Gyàl, Hungary, after a lengthy illness. He was the last surviving member of the family of Alvin and Nettie (Graves) Marks. Predeceased by wife Helen in 2001, his parents, two sisters Elma (Burpee) Hall and Pearl (Fred) Hodgins, three brothers Russell (Treva) Allison and Stanley Marks. Survived by son Timothy and several grandchildren in Gyàl, Beata Toth and her mother Monika his caregivers, sisters-in-law Edith Marks of Sussex, nieces and nephews in Canada including Ramona Graves, Betty Adair, Alvin Martin, Clifford Marks, Judy Dunnett, Piece and A.J. Marks, and Diane Fletcher of N.S. Myles served overseas in WWII in Europe and Italy.
Funeral Service held at Elohim K.F.T., 125 Tancsics-Mihaly St, Gyàl, Hungary, on February 25th 2013. The Canadian National Anthem was played and a Canadian flag draped the coffin in honour of his country of origin.
