It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nina Ireta Basha announce her peaceful passing in the presence of her loving family at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at the age of 89 years. Left to enjoy beautiful memories are her loving husband and best friend of 62 years Reg; daughters: Karen (Brian), Susan (Glenn), Vicki (special friend Max); grandchildren: Greg, Andrea (Kevin), Ian (Jen), Alison (Chris), great grandchildren “her happy feet” Nathanial, Jaden, Riley, Ciara, Carmen, brothers and sisters-in-law: Lillian, Angie, Von, Tony, Bern and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents Charlie and Mary Sexton, sisters Grace and Blanche, brothers Harold, Lloyd, Chess and Ed. At Nina’s request cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday June 7, 2013 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. from Sacred Heart Parish, Curling with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating, with interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Children’s Wish Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.
